What type of spark plug is used for the 2-stroke engine?

Answer:

1980 - 1998 – Champion CJ8

1998 - 2002 – Champion RCJ8Y

2002 - 2004 – Champion RCJ14H

2004 onwards – NGK BPMR4A  (can be used for all Victa engines from 1998)

Air gap between electrodes 0.635 mm or 0.025 inches

What type of Spark Plug is used for Briggs and Stratton Engines?

Answer:

Champion RJ19LM for L-Head or side-valve engines 450-675 Series, or Champion RC12YC for OHV engines 750-850 Series. Refer to original spark plug if unsure. Air gap between electrodes: 850 Series = 0.56mm or 0.022 inches. All other B&S engines = 0.76 mm or 0.030 inches

What type of Spark Plug is used for Tecumseh Engines?

Answer:
NGK - BR2-LM or Champion CJ8 or Champion RCJ8
Air gap between electrodes 0.635 mm or 0.025 inches

What type of Spark Plug is used for Honda Engines?

Answer:
NGK - BPR6ES or Champion RN9YX
The air gap between electrodes is 0.025 inches or 0.635 mm
