2. Got Bald Patches?
Your lawn looks more like a threadbare doormat after partying all summer?
Time for some pre-winter first aid.
Use a lawn rake to remove dead grass. If the soil underneath is compacted fluff it lightly with a garden fork and add a little lawn soil mix.
Use the rake to create small furrows, across the fall of any slope, before spreading a suitable lawn seed. Look for one that’s pre-blended with starter fertiliser.
Then just keep moist, not wet, until the new grass is growing strongly.
