Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid. Entering the competition will be deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 

Entry is open to residents of New Zealand (“Eligible Entrant”) only. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. 

To be eligible to enter, an Eligible Entrant must purchase the New Bronco™ Anniversary Mulch or Catch 2691921 in a single transaction from a participating Victa^® Gold Dealer (“Eligible Purchase”) during the period from Saturday 1 October 2022 to 5pm Sunday 15 January 2023 (“Promotion Period”). 

To enter the prize draw, make an Eligible Purchase by completing the entry form found on the Victa®  website (www.victa.com/nz) and attach your original purchase receipt showing the Eligible Purchase. (Notes – 1 - Keep a copy of your receipt showing the Eligible Purchase safe until after the prize draw in case you are asked to validate your entry.) 

Limit of one entry per Eligible Purchase. Each entry must represent a separate Eligible Purchase and must have the original receipt attached. 

All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will go into the prize draw. 

The Promoter reserves the right to require any Eligible Entrant to provide the original proof of purchase showing that a separate Eligible Purchase was made for every entry they made during the Promotion Period in order to claim a prize. 

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries made and reserves the right to disqualify any individual entrant or group of entrants for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to making multiple entries that are not associated with the separate Eligible Purchase, or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with the conditions of entry. 

The following prize will be awarded to each of 3 eligible entrants: 

1. Victa^®  Corvette 18V Twin Battery Trimmer Power head only console (1697389) valued at $220 recommended retail price (‘RRP’);

2. Victa^®  Straight Shaft Trimmer Attachment (1697409) valued at $125 RRP; 

3. Victa^®  Hedge Trimmer Attachment (1696896) valued at $220 RRP; 

4. Victa^®  Pole Pruner Attachment (1696894) valued at $195 RRP; 

5. Victa^®  Pole Extension (1696901) valued at $69 RRP;

The prize draw will be conducted in Auckland on Friday 20 January 2023. The first three Eligible Entries drawn will win a prize. 

All winners will be notified by phone within 48 hours of the prize draw and all winners’ names and postcodes will be published at victa.com/nz by close of business on Friday 27 January 2023. If the winner of a prize package cannot be contacted within 48 hours of the first contact attempt, the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate that prize to the next valid entry drawn at random. 

The prizes are not transferable and cannot be taken as cash. Each prize package will be delivered through courier to the address details provided on the winning entry. 

The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 

All entries become the property of the Promoter. By registering into the promotion, the claimant consents to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion, and for his/her name and image to be used for publicity purposes by the Promoter in printed and/or online formats without the need for further approval or compensation and for an unlimited period of time. 

The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, suppliers. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the claimant. Claimants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of the promoter.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

Each prize winner should look to the manufacturer of products and provider of services awarded as prizes for all warranties. However, these terms and conditions do not exclude or limit the application of any statutory provision (including a provision of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993) where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void. 

In the event that a prize is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure within New Zealand, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value. 

The prizes will only be delivered in New Zealand and each winner should allow 28 days from the prize draw for delivery of their prize.
